Surcote made in handwoven silk and fully lined in linen, with a woollen white hart appliquéd to the back and front (details on the hart are picked out in black, although this is hard to see in the picture!)

A dark green surcote with white chevron, again, in handwoven silk, and fully lined in linen. (Sorry the picture's in black and white - will hopefully be able to get a colour one soon!!!)

A selection of surcoats. On the extreme left is one in white linen, with three green parrots. Second from the left is a surcoat that somebody else made, but to which I added the red appliqué lions to front and back. Second from the right is a red and black quartered surcoat with white fleurs de lys in each quarter (also seen below left - and click here to see a gambeson I made in the same colours for the same client). On the extreme right is a surcoat made in the colours of one of the Earls of Warwick. A red ground, with a yellow bar and six crossed crosslets (again, also seen below, on the right, as a back view).
