Abimelech Hainsworth, makers of fine cloth since the Battle of Waterloo
Fairly obviously, this is a waistcoat and a pair of
trousers from the mid Victorian period (1860s ish).

Both are in black wool by Hainsworths.  The
waistcoat has a false belted back.
Two picture showing the belt at the back of the waistcoat.

The trousers have the same kind of buckle on the belt.
The trousers have a button fly
(obviously), and they fasten
with buttons made from paper
backed tin.  They also have a
belted back (see right).
The white stitching that can be seen in some pictures is tacking that holds the pockets in place.

These pictures have been lightened to show the detail.
