In the first instance you will need to contact us for a quotation and to find out how quickly I could make your
order.  

Quotations are valid for one calendar month.  

Once you order the price will not change unless you alter the specification.  
The price quoted will not include postage and packing (aka shipping and handling), which I charge at cost.  If
you'd like an estimate of the shipping cost, let me know, I'll look it up!  (I will ship worldwide).  

Delivery times vary according to the time of year and other factors, (such as the necessity for fittings, toiles,
etc), so if I quote you a delivery time of 'X' weeks in January, it might be 'X' + 2 months if you choose not to
order till July.  Although I have been known to fill orders in less than two weeks, a wait of 6 - 8 months is
more likely - but contact us (you never know!)

I don't charge extra for large sizes - (whether you're chest size is 34", 42" or 68", I will charge you the
same price for the same garment).
I have two options when it comes to measuring and sizing.

1.  Standard sized (based on chest size).  
For this I'll need to know your chest size and height (imperial or metric - I understand both!).

2.  Custom made.
Most of my work is custom made.  This is fully bespoke, and made to measure - meaning that I cut a new
pattern for you - I don't simply alter an existing pattern (that's made to measure in the high street suit sense of
the term!!)

As I'm sure you can imagine, I need quite a few measurements.  If you're in the UK, you can arrange to visit
for measuring.  If that's not possible, I'll send you a copy of my measurement form and guide.  













Once I have your measurements, I will need a (non-refundable*) deposit of approximately 30% of the total
order value (excl. shipping), and I'll book you into our work schedule.













Customers resident in the UK may make payments by cheque, postal order, bank transfer, or cash if in
person.  Please do not send cash through the post, as I cannot be held responsible if it goes missing,
and you cannot insure it.

Overseas customers should pay by either international money order, banker's draft or banker's cheque.  I can
also accept personal cheques.  I can accept these payments in hard currencies other than Pounds Sterling
(GBP), but I must make a charge of 1.5% of the payment amount, to cover bank charges.  
PayPal payments can be arranged.

New customers should note that payment will be required on completion of your garments, rather than on
delivery.  I will let you know in writing that your order has been completed, (including a final payable balance
including shipping cost), and all goods will be sent within 14 days of the clearance of payment.

All deliveries are made using Royal Mail Special Delivery for UK customers, or by parcel courier.  All parcels
are fully insured, and traceable.  

Please note that if you are outside the UK your national customs office may impose additional fees.  Such
fees are levied by and payable to local customs, and I am not responsible for them in any way.

NB - orders can only be placed under a client's real name - we regret that we cannot accept orders placed
under a pseudonym.

All cheques / postal orders should be made payable to D Lough.

Following an enquiry or order, I will add your details to my mailing list, so that I can let you know when I update my
site, etc, or of my occasional special offers / participation in prize draws, etc.  This information is only sent to
customers, previous enquirers, and anybody signing up for updates, (I don't really believe in unsolicited mailings to
individuals).

Under no circumstances would I ever allow any of your details to be passed on from this list to any third party.  At all.
Ever.

However, if you do not wish your details to remain on my list, please inform me by letter or e-mail (see also 'contact
us' page), stating that you no longer wish to be on my mailing list.  All your details will be immediately deleted
(excluding such details as are necessary to complete an order).
