| This is a two piece dress, made to one of the prototype CC41 designs submitted to the Board of Trade at the inception of the CC41 utility scheme. The dress consists of a blouse top, with a 'grown on' collar, a partial front button fastening (three buttons), and padded shoulders, and a skirt with small sewn in pleats at the waist, and a button fastening. The sleeves are three quarter length, and have no fastening. Entirely machine sewn in rayon fabric. |
